[鍋物]とは…鍋で調理され、鍋から直接各自の取り皿にとって食べる料理のことを鍋物といいます。
[nabemono] These are dishes cooked in a communal pan (nabe). Diners take what they want directly from the pot to their own dish.
例文
冬になると鍋物が食べたくなります。
As soon as winter sets in, it makes me want to eat nabemono.
